Irish singer/songwriter Dermot Kennedy heads up the live music around Wollongong this week with a free show right here at the shop on Saturday November 18th. It is happening at 4pm and if you buy a copy of his album Sonder you'll get entry to see him play and he'll sign your record.
La La La's continue their fourth birthday celebrations this week with highlights including Caitlin Harnett & The Pony Boys on Saturday November 18th, The Moving Stills on Wednesday November 22nd and the Deez Gaze featuring Hugs, The Midnight Tides and more on Thursday November 23rd. For the folks that like to party, Spinning Around happens at the venue on Friday November 17th.
It's also a big week out at the Servo in Port Kembla with highly recemmended shows on Friday and Saturday. Al Matcott and Lady Lyon are there for the Friday show while the excellent Porpoise Spit from Melbourne (one of my top highlights of Bigsound this year) are launching their great new album supported by The Pretty Littles and The Sweaty Bettys.
