Welcome to Music Farmers. We're an independent record store in Wollongong, Australia. We're vinyl record specialists who have been supplying music lovers across greater Sydney and Australia with LPs, CDs, DVDs, books, shirts and good times since 2004 when it was co-founded by Jeb Taylor and Simon Dalla Pozza. In 2011 Simon moved on from the business to work full time in graphic design (and still contributes to some of the shop's design), at that time Nick Irwin came on board as a partner in the shop. Nick and Jeb continue to run the outlet to this day alongside a team of music obsessed staff.

Everything on this site is brand-spankin' new and listed in Australian dollars. In-store there's heaps of second-hand vinyl LPs, as well as all our regular stock. And if we don't have it, drop us a line and we'll see what we can do to get it in. We'll post anywhere in world, but if you live in Sydney, Wollongong or anywhere in NSW, you should drop in and and check us out.

OTHER STUFF

Our other businesses run totally independent of Music Farmers.

Jeb is the co-founder and co-owner of Farmer & The Owl a record label and management company that represents artists such as Hockey Dad, Bad//Dreems, Shining Bird, The Pinheads, Bec Sandridge, Totally Unicorn and Tees. It also runs an annual festivbal just down the road in McCabe Park.

Nick and Jeb both founded and operated Impedance Records, a label and touring company that represented Nick Oliveri, The Sword, Mother & Son, Mondo Generator, King Parrot, The New Christs, The Hard Ons and plenty more. While it is no longer an operation that releases new music, much of the back catalogue is still available.

Nick and Jeb both DJ regularly at bars and parties around Wollongong as Music Farmers DJ's, while jeb is also part of the Sultans Of Spin DJ collective.

Record Stores of the World is a blog that Jeb writes featuring the record stores of different cities around the world. You can find a link to it in the menu above.
