There are a lot of great shows hitting local stages across the next week. Kicking things off on Friday night at Waves it is Australian hip hop veterans Bliss n Esso. For a change of pace up north at Anita's Theatre in Thirroul on the same night it is Toni Childs.
On Saturday night Sydney punk legends Frenzal Rhomb take to the Unibar stage supported by Private Wives.
This week at La La La's it is Shacked on Friday night, Fangz on Saturday and No Face No Case on Sunday, it is then followed by Late 90's on Thursday.
Sunday at Frank's Wild Years in Thirroul it is a big double bill featuring Rowena Wise and Didirri. Also on Sunday out at The Servo in Port Kembla it is Dog Trumpet.
The Vi-Nil Records label have just released their Indie Sounds From The Gong compilation and they launch in on Saturday at The Vault in Port Kembla with a massive line up that features Owen Guns, The Leftards, Dark Clouds, The Sugar Beats, Little Girl Likes Her Brain, Shakamoto and more.
This Friday at Towradgi Beach Hotel you can see free live music from Marilyn Maria, while it is also free at Dicey Rileys on Saturday for Blind Corners and the Ryan's Hotel for The Chordroys.
