Nick Cave, Hoon, Robot God, Death By Denim and more live in Wollongong this week.

It's another big week of live music around Wollongong kicking off with a free show from Bronte Alva at Towradgi Beach Hotel tonight (Friday May 3rd). If you like things in the stoner/doom realm, there is another great free entry show at Dicey Rileys on Saturday with Sydney heavy hitters Robot God launching their new album.

With a huge tour of Europe recently announced, local heavy hitters Hoon are playing a big local show on Saturday night at La La Las, it's a stcked line up that also features the excellent Adelaide band The Empty Threats among others.

Happening at La La Las this Sunday is the latest installment of Deer Gaze. Deer Gaze at Las May 5th, the group put on events for the local LGBTQIA+ and this one features another stacked line up including Babe Prescient, Blake Williams, Final Girls and Great Job.

This Sunday at North Gong Hotel is a really solid line up with two great bands coming a long way to give you all a free show, Perth band Death By Denim will headline and rising Adelaide shoegaze outfit Sunsick Daisy are also on the bill Also on Sunday out at the Servo in Port Kambla is a great line up fearuring Dream Good and Russell W.

Next Thursday May 9th is a big one in Wollongong with the legendary Nick Cave hitting town to play a solo show at WIN Entertainment Centre. If you missed a ticket to that one, on the same night, legendary Canadian artist Martha Wainwright is playing at Anita's Theatre in Thirroul.
