Playlunch, Shining Bird, Cloud Control, Teenage Dads, May-a and more playing live around Wollongong over the next week

It's a big week of live music in Wollongong with Great Southern Nights in full swing and headed by the Sounds Of Steel event in Port Kembla on Saturday. It is a free event across venues in Port Kembla featurng Shining Bird, Harvey Sutherland, Tex Crick, Babitha and many more. 

Other free events round Wollongong this weekend include Egoism supported by Aodhan and Misso at Towradgi Beach Hotel on Friday, Angelo the Poet at Dicey Rileys on Saturday and The Strike Outs, The Dark Clouds, The Sugar Beats and more at Ryan's Hotel on Saturday.

La La La's kicks off the week with May-a on Friday night, 3% on Saturday and Garage Sale on Sunday. Backing in up through the week, you can see Facs at La La La's on Thursday supported by Chimers and Liotta Rail.

Saturday night at Unibar is the Cool Change event that has a line up featuring Teenage Dads, Shag Rock, Betty Taylor, Smart Casual and more. Staying at Unibar and Sunday has Playlunch take to the stage. 

There is a double header at Thirroul Railway Hall with Silky Roads on Friday night followed by Hoon, Bimbo and Proxy Diver on Saturday.

Sydney favourites Cloud Control take to the stage of Anita's Theatre on Friday, while Australian music legend Ross Wilson is playing there on Saturday. 

Society City this week has Amy Vee, Anna Weatherup and Richie Weed on Friday, followed by The Figureheads on Saturday.
