Speed, Amy Shark, James Reyne, Steve Smyth, Thrown, Rhys Scoular and more live around Wollongong this week

Kicking off the live music this week at La La La's is the City 2 Surf event featuring five bands headed by The Pingers and also including Forklift Assassins, Petrol Bomb, Crankees & SUSS. Saturday night, La La La's hosts rising country artist Sara Berki while on Sunday it is the always incredible Steve Smyth hitting the stage.

This week's free music includes Courtesy Bus and Rattlegun at Towradgi Beach Hotel on Friday, Avalanche at Dicey Rileys on Saturday and Ioakim at the North Gong Hotel on Sunday. Halfway Bar have dipped their toes into live music and are hosting live bands on a Friday evening with free entry, this week it is Thunder Fox and Boomchild.

This Friday night at Anita's Theatre in Thirroul it is Amy Shark, while egendary Australian artist James Reyne drops by Wollongong to play Waves this Saturday night.

On Saturday night there is  special fundraiser for Wynton Fictoor at The Factory (141 Kembla Street) in Wollongong featuring Rhys Scoular, CMYK and others. 

If you are a fan of heavy music, Dicey Rileys has you covered with some mid week action! if you are lucky enough to have a tickets as both shows are sold out, Speed plays on Tuesday and Sweden's Thrown play alongside Germany's Half Me on Wednesday.
