Another weekend, another huge local live music festival, this time it is Thirroul Music Festival on Saturday and featuring a huge line up that includes Donavon Frankenreiter, Gareth Liddiard, Floodlights, Grce Cummings, Andy Golldge, Watty Thompson and many more.
We have a double up of instores this weekend at Music Farmers, Saturday sees Newcastle band Fahm playing an acoustic set at 4pm, while Sunday sees Sydney dream pop outfit Egoism play a free and all ages acoustic set at 4pm.
Kicking off the week of live music on Saturday at La La La's is The Slims with support from The Chordroys and The Midnight Tides while Grxce plays on Sunday. Wednesday sees Lux Trevis play a free show in the downstairs bar at La La La's while Lani Faith is on the main stage on Thursday.
For free live music this week, Tonix plays Towradgi Beach Hotel on Friday, Denim On Her is at Dicey Riley's on Saturday, while Fahm plays the Ryan's Hotel on Saturday.
Friday at Society City sees The Figureheads, while on Saturday it is Cytosis, Silvia Lane, Ded Set and Franxie.
Australian music legend Mick Thomas takes to the stage at The Servo on Friday while local ska veterans Steel City Allstars are there on Saturday.
Franz Ferdinand are playing Anita's Theatre on Tuesday, if you are heading along, make sure you go early for the great Melbourne support band Delivery.
