On this day twenty years ago, we opened Music Farmers for the first time!
We had no retail experience, no business plan and very little money, but somehow, we pushed through over time and made it into a proper thing! There have been a few phases of this store, and it is already ten years this month since we’ve been at the current Keira Street location!
It’s doubtful anyone ever thought we’d be doing this twenty years later, us included. There were plans for some sort of event and release around this milestone, but the year got away, so check back next year!
In the meantime, here are some memories of twenty years. We aren’t great at taking photo’s so luckily the Illawarra Mercury has been around to document a lot of this journey.
