Before Somewhere : Antipodean Riff Rock, Proto Metal & Heavy Psych 1965 - 1975

Capturaing the pioneering era down under of heavy riffs, fuzzy guitars, psychedelic sounds and raw energy. You can hear the incredible Kahvas Jute, tunes from legendary heavy blues bands such as Chain & Buffalo, some of New Zealand's finest like Space Farm & Human Instinct as well as probably my favourite track on here, short lived Melbourne band Ash with their track Midnight Witch. As far as I know the band only released two 7"s and they are extremely rare, be prepared to pay a lot if you ever come across one. Thankfully the tune does appear of the Brown Acid compilation series out via Riding Easy Records.
