"When Freddy Crabs injected his fluid grooves into Sticky Fingers, it helped the Aussie rockers belly-flop the bangers that made waves around the world. Now, the hairy hedonist is climbing the creative diving board again for his debut solo EP release, Good to Waste. 

Produced by the sonic wizard Izaac Wilson, the sound pours soulful, lo-fi yacht rock into a cocktail stiff enough to make your bed bounce. Crabs puts his keyboard chops to full use showcasing unique chord progressions and RnB flows. But it’s the way he balances this with the sweaty synths and G-Funk tainted basslines that make you bop until you drop.

Lyrically, the songs explore breakups, mental health and mateship. Themes that stay true to Crabs’ STI FI roots, while revealing a new softness (and we’re not talking about his growing gut). Because there’s a vulnerability that bares Crabs’ soul like never before. Just don’t expect the big-hearted bloke to bare as much skin as he used to.
