Brisbane’s beloved indie outfit Ball Park Music return with their most intimate and reflective album yet. Following the whirlwind of touring and creative limbo that comes after a record cycle, the band embraced a long-held dream—to make a softer, late-night album. The result is a collection of what they call ‘couch songs’—gentle, patient tracks that have been quietly waiting for their moment. Strummed away from prying ears for years, these songs finally found their home within the band, recorded over ten days in Sydney with a spirit of spontaneity and discovery.
A departure from their anthemic highs, this record leans into hushed tones and rich storytelling, capturing Ball Park Music’s warmth and unmistakable chemistry in a fresh new way.
