Gaze Fest + Raised As Wolves, Tropical Strength, Grxce and more playing live around Wollongong this week

To kick off the live in the gong column this week we highlight the free shows happening around Wollonong, starting on Friday September 20th at Towradgi Beach Hotel with The Colliflowers, Loons, New Calyptus and Streless. This Saturday night at Dicey Rileys it is Felony, Business Doing Pleasure and Chiara Kovac, while also on Saturday out at the Ryans Hotel in Thirroul it is Quarter Horse Club and Bad Drip. Sunday afternoon at North Gong Hotel is a big one with Raised As Wolves and Amends both playing to launch their new split release that is out now on Resist Records.

This week at La La La's kicks off with Grxce launching their new ep release on Friday night before Gaze Fest takes over the venue on a Saturday with a line up including Brooklyn Comic, Earl Gray, Marley Fox, Em Duncan and many more. On Sunday afternoon it is some chilled sounds with Kane Calcite, Jack Willis and Ginger Lane

This Saturday at Society City features a gig from locals Sickbay and Mayeflower. It's free entry and kicks off at 6pm while on Sunday afternoon at Franks Wild Years in Thirroul Adam Newling will be playing.

This Friday evening at the Servo in Port Kembla, it is the screening of the new film deom Noa Deane and James Kates titled Horse which features an original score from Russell W. Also happening this Friday at Coledale RSL, Bulli High School are holding a fundraising event for their Bulls Eye record label that features past and present students with the line up including Tropical Strength, The Summer Guppys, Zion, Alara Livingstone and Penny Church.
