Hammers, Bootleg Rascal, Belinda Carlisle, Crocodylus, Dice and more live around Wollongong this week

 This week's live music kicks off in heavy fashion at La La La's on Friday night with Gold Coast band Hammers hitting the stage. The band is the current project for former local Lucas Stone (Helm, Scalene) and the show features a heavy hitting list of supports in the form of Rick Dangerous & The Silkie Bantams, Plastic Bath and Ultra Vires. Saturday night at La La La's it is Bootleg Rascal in town while Sunday evening at the same venue has some more heavy sounds headlined by Krave. On Wednesday at La La La's it is the October edition of New Blood Wednesdays with Dating Kane, Streless, Silvia Lane and The Sooky La La's.

Free music events this week kick off on Friday night at Towradgi Beach Hotel with So I Says To Mabel, while Saturday night at Dicey Rileys Hotel features Blackout Fun Club and up at Ryans Hotel in Thirroul it is Wisdom Teeth. The North Gong Hotel this Sunday afternoon has a big line up headlined by Crocodylus with supports Des Cortez, The Sweaty Bettys and Ah Honey.

This Saturday at The Servo in Port Kembla it is G2G, Solo Career and Empure, while Franks Wild Years in Thirroul hosts Arbes and Tessa Fleur.

This Friday night, eighties pop legend Belinda Carlisle is playing Anita's Theatre in Thirriul, while on Thursday October 3rd, Dice are in town to launch their Midnight Zoo album at Waves.
