This week's live music is all about Gong Crawl on Saturday but there are some other live events happening as well.
The massive Grong Crawl line up starts at 2pm, La La La's kick it off and roll through the whole night with artists such as Dust, 1300 and Mickey Kojak. Also kicking off at 2pm is Humber with a DJ focused line up. Here at Music Farmers we kick things off at 4pm and host Russell W, Ginger Lane and Wisdom Teeth. Dicey Rileys Hotel has your heavy music covered with a line up that includes Hoon, Private Function, Private Wives and more. Over the road at Society City it will be headlined by Richie Weed, while there is also live music at places such as Side Door Theatre, 130 Art Studios along with DJ's at The Prince and Heyday. Elsewhere around Wollongong this week, La La La's host Soso and Quite Like Pete on Friday night while it is a big one at Waves with King Stingray and Jem Cassr Daley on the same night.
As well as Gong Crrawl being free there are also other free shows happening with Joel Leggett at Towradgi Beach Hotel on Friday and LSF, Jack Willis, Help Street and Sick Bay at North Gong Hotel on Sunday.
The Servo in Port Kemba this weekend has some solid shows with Friday night being the Dashville Festival warm up while Sunday it is guitar rock action with heavy hitting trio Birdsville.
Next Thursday at Wollongong Unibar it is a big one for nineties music fans with Jebediah and Magic Dirt taking to the stage.
