Kicking off the weekend on Friday August 23rd local outfit Autumn Sunset headline a show at La La La's with support from Business Doing Pleasure, Roomates and Dating Kane and the following night another bunch of local favourites take to the stage at the same venue including The Tin Knees and Dribs. Rounding out the weekend at La La La's with a big night on Sunday are The Belair Lip Bombs who recently signed to Jack White's Third Man label supported by Mac The Knife, Hoon and Private Wives.
For free live music action this week, Friday night it is Gia Ransome at Towradgi Beach Hotel, Saturday night is headlined by Rinser at Dicey Rileys Hotel, while The Summer Guppys and Shakamoto play out at the Ryans Hotel in Thirroul and on Sunday Adelaide duo TOWNS headline the North Gong Hotel with support from Proxy Diver, Mood Spill and Sevilles.
Saturday night at The Servo in Port Kembla, Kane Calcite launches his new ep with support from Cassy Rae and Rhys Scoular.
Wednesday August 28th sees a huge international heavy music line up at Unibar with Kublai Khan, Terror and Guit Trip taking to the stage. While at the same venue the following night it is Australian favourites Between You & Me and Teenage Joans.
Across town at Waves on Thursday night it is another huge double bill with Australian party rock mainstays Dune Rats teaming up with US friends Fidlar while at La La La's on the same night it is Melbourne favourites Armlock.
