The Great Southern Nights events continue this week with locals Satin Cali hosting a big festival at Wollongong University that also includes Cheeky Leash, The Good Kids and The Colliflowers on Saturday while Northeast Party House take to the Unibar stage tonight (Friday) and Stand Atlantic next Thursday. On Friday night at Thirroul Railway Hall, Skeleton play a show that is sold out, so hopefully you have tickets, while Saturday sees Andy Golledge at Reub Goldberg Brewing Machine in Tarawanna.
It's a big weekend ahead at La La La's kicking off in Friday with Spike Fuck, with the excellent Gut Health from Melbourne playing on Saturday. Sunday sees a Silhouette Label showcase featuring Steve Bourk, E444E, Bimbo and Loaded & True.
Free music kicks off this week at Towradgi Beach Hotel on Friday with Club Camel, and Russell W at Halway Bar. Saturday night sees OK Hotel and Clueless at Dicey Rileys, while Birdsville play the Ryan's Hotel in Thirroul. Yours & Owls Sunday's has a new home at Pepe's and this week it is headlined by Quite Like Pete.
Friday night sees the legendary Missy Higgins play at Anita's Theatre in Thirroul, while Frank's Wild Years just across the road hosts Snowy on Sunday afternoon.
The Servo in Port Kembla this Friday hosts some wild country music actian with Midnight Chicken supported by local singer/songwriter Kay Proudlove.
