Shining Bird, The Wonder Years, Waxx, Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, Sesame Girl and more live around Wollongong this week

This week's live music kicks of at Five Barrels Brewery in Wollongong with a huge free show presented by Silhouette Label and Holy Pavlova featuring Shining Bird, Tropical Strength, Boy Lichtenstein, Catman and Alara Livingstone. The following night at the same venue it is psych rock band Bananagun.

This Sunday at Waves it is US band The Wonder Years with support from Joyce Manor and Suzi, whil it is a huge week over at the Unibar with Waxx on Friday night, Psychedelic Porn Crumpets on Saturday night and next Wednesday local band Sesame Girl present Ses Fest, headlined by themselves and including a solid line of supports including Sevilles and Egoism.

La La La's has a solid week ahead with Life Giver on Friday, Teenage Joans on Saturday, Kye Hallson & The ET's on Sunday and then on Wednesday it is the next installment of of New Blood Wednesday's featuring Jericho, Cytosis, Aria Nova and Eastwood.

Anita's Theatre in Thirroul this coming week hosts Australian pop rock icons Noiseworks on Sunday and country music fans can get along to Shane Nicholson and Amber Lawrence next Thursday.

On Saturday night, Society City is hosting Marbled Eye and Chimers. On Sunday at The Music Lounge (Wollongong Town Hall), Emily Wurramara will take to the stage, Emily's album of last year Nara was one of the best Australian releases of the year and this is your chance to see it live.

Some more free entry shows this week include Azure Ryder at Towradgi Beach Hotel on Friday, Major Arcana, Burn In Hell, Crown Street Militia and Proxy Diver at Dicey Rileys on Saturday and The Empty Threats with Sleepazoid at Pepe's on Sunday.
