Old Mervs kick off a big live music locally this week with a show on Friday night at the Unibar supported by Jet City Sports Club. The Unibar backs it up the following Thursday with Thelma Plum playing the venue.
La La La's kicks off the weekend with Daisy Pring on Friday, followed by Champain Lyf on Saturday and then a big indie rock show on Sunday featuring Infinity Broke, The Escarpment and Trappist Afterland. It keeps rolling through the week at the Globe Lane venue with Eastwood on Wednesday and Only At The Movies on Thursday.
Dicey Rileys features The Bennies with support from Slim Krusty on Wednesday.
Free live music this week includes Bella Mackenzie at Towradgi Beach Hotel on Friday, Mac The Knife at Dicey Rileys or The Leftards at Ryan's Hotel on Saturday and Brooklyn Comic at Pepe's on Sunday.
Society City has great new local band Sega Jade playing on Saturday alongside Nearest Neighbour and The Fibs while Franks Wild Years has a great show on Sunday afternoon featuring The Green Child (members of Eddy Current Suppression Ring, Boomgates, The Stevens) with support from Bimbo and Expensive Music Band.
The Servo in Port Kembla this weekend has Johnny Batchelor on Friday, The Wet Whistles on Saturday and Beatmeisters on Sunday afternoon.
