The Choirboys, Dust, Major Arcana, Pete Cornelius and more playing live around Wollongong this week

We're about to kick off winter and it some of the live music has slowed down but there is still plenty to see. On Sunday La La La's host Giraffehead supported by Circadia while New Blood Wednesdays return for the month with a line up featuring Seraphim, Herald, Kill Patrick and Flaming Gypsies. Thursday night at the venue it is Fluid Fest with the Midnight Tides, Cherry Ripe, Monstahouse and Earl Gray.

For your fix of free music this week, on Friday night at Towradgi Beach Hotel it is Ullah and Creeping Jenny, while Saturday you can catch Outer Control and Ocean at Dicey Rileys or Lemon Row at the Ryan's Hotel in Thirroul.

This Saturday night at Anita's Theatre in Thirroul it is Australian pub rock icons The Choirboys taking to the stage. Sticking in Thirroul and Friday night at Franks Wild Years it is Pete Cornelius and Jeremy Edwards

On Friday night at the Servo, Newcastle's Dust play alongside Sevilles, while Saturday sees Monnone Alone and Expensive Music Band at the venue. Society City has a big show on Saturday night featuring Major Arcana, Dead Mall and Creeping Jenny
