Kid Pharaoh returns with a new single, Monster Magnet reissues, Fellaheen Records shirts and new music from Sesame Girl

Jeb Taylor

Kid Pharaoh has returned with new single Let the Blood Spill, released via Farmer & The Owl and streaming everywhere now. It’s his first new music in a few years and the start of new chapter. Self-produced, the track fuses an eerie Middle Eastern string sample fit for the most terrifying of horror scores with thunderous hip-hop drums, charging like a war march through anything in its path. Check out the video below.

Legendary heavy psych/space rock outfit Monster Magnet have just reissued most of their catalogue on vinyl which has been unavailable for several years. Their Dopes To Infinity album was one of my most played discs as teenager, I even remember heading up to Waterfront for an instore signing, and then of course seeing them on that incredible tour to support that release. They played an all ages show at The Metro with Tumbleweed, it blew my teenage mind! A bunch of the albums are in stock now and some other catalogue releases will be coming soon.

Last week I spoke about the Waterfront Records shirts and this week I talk about the Fellaheen record label shirts. Fellaheen was a label that followed the Waterfront label and, in a way, preceded Modular. They had an incredible run of Australian releases from bands such as Budd, Fur, Noise Addict and Sandpit, as well as licensing international releases from Beastie Boys, Sebadoh, Pavement and more. The limited-edition shirts will be in next week and you can pre order now by hitting the image below.

Sesame Girl has a new single out today and once again it is another incredible slice of shoegaze, dream pop sounds, give it a listen below.
