Sounds Of Steel is a multi-venue, free event happening across Port Kembla on Saturday May 9th. Shining Bird will make a rare appearance at the event, playing at Black Metal Motor Co and I’ll be there with some other Sultans Of Spin crew to play some aligned records across the afternoon and evening. The line up elsewhere on the day is huge as you can see below, check out the socials in the lead up for specific times and venues.
Speaking of big local events, Yours & Owls Festival has announced a return to the October long weekend, the Saturday of the event will take place at Flagstaff Hill, while the Sunday will take over venues and locations across the Wollongong CBD.
If you want some fun party tunes, playing out on vinyl, Spinning Around returns to La La La’s on Saturday May 23rd. Sultans Of Spin’s flagship event, the crew will be playing party tunes from across the decades and I’m on board for this one after missing the last few. Free entry and it kicks on all the way through until 2am.
