Live music in Wollongong this week is headed by the huge Yours & Owls 10th Birthday event at Wollongong University that includes Golden Features, Peeking Duk, Alice Ivy, Hellcat Speedracer and many more. If you are after something a bit more chilled on the same day, The Dreggs bring their album tour to Waves.
This week's free music kicks off at Towradgi Beach Hotel in Friday night with Gia Darcy and Meadowhip, while Saturday sees Gravel Samwidge at Dicey Rileys Hotel and Bread Club at Ryans Hotel in Thirroul. This Sunday at the North Gong Hotel it is a great line up headed by Adelaide band Coldwave and also featuring The Lonesomes, Courtesy Bus and Stirr.
La La La's this week kicks off with WA band Great Gable on Friday night before backing it up with a string of heavier events across the week. Sunday night features Uni/Vs, Tuesday has Diamond Construct and US band Koyo take to the stage on Wednesday night.
This weekend is Franks Wild Years 9th Birthday and on Sunday, Sydney indie rock band Restless Leg will be taking to the stage to help them celebrate.
