As we lead into the first time on vinyl from Nitocris in September, I wanted to share this video of them below playing live on recovery. For those not old enough to remember, Recovery was a TV show on ABC that aired on a Saturday morning hosting live performances, interviews and other interesting segments. This was the 90’s so the internet barely existed and there was no YouTube or social media. Music discovery was very different and outlets like this were vital, for young people looking to discover new music, and equally important for the artists creating it. One of the first times I heard Nitocris was seeing them on Recovery, not long after I bought a copy of their CDEP Hyperland at Phantom Records in Sydney.
