With the reissue of their incredible Blue Planet Eyes album available now and a show happening at Wollongong Unibar in Friday June 13th, we find out about five albums that mean a lot to vocalist Isabella Manfredi.
Your first album. It can be the first record/cd/tape you bought, first album downloaded or just the first album you remember hearing that stuck with you.
First Single: Sixpence None The Richer 'Kiss Me'
First Album: Garbage Garbage 2.0

The album that changed your musical outlook. It can be your most influential, one that led you down a certain path, or had a long-lasting impact on you.
Blood on the Tracks by Bob Dylan. I first heard it at 14 when I'd had my heart broken for the first time and felt like Bobby was singing straight to me. It changed the way I listened to music and thought about songwriting, and was a revelation all over again when the New York sessions were released.

An album that you love but is not as widely known as it should be.
Bedtime Stories by Madonna. My mum had this in the car when I was 9 or 10. The songs are so good, ‘secret’ ‘take a bow.’ In one song Mads says “I’m not your bitch don’t lay your shit on me” and I think it’s aged so well!

The record that drew you in with its visuals. It can be the cover art, a press pic of the band that made you take notice, ect.
Divinyls' Desperate (1983) - this was the era of the band being front and centre, unabashedly rock and confident on the cover. Everything about it says “we’re in a gang and you can be too” the jagged logo, finger points and schoolgirl pout, plus the metal fencing. I love Chrissy’s white fishnet stockings with the white pumps, velvet mini dress with the Victorian collar. It’s so fashion.

The album you are currently loving the most at the moment.
Cameron Winter - Love Takes Miles
